Being Home

Being home has been so nice. I love being in my own space and sleeping in my own bed. We have just been taken it easy and just hanging out being lazy.

Coming Home

We came home the 27th.

Brooklyn Mae Jacobson

Monday Aug 24th I woke up and was having contractions off and on. By that evening they were any where from 2 to 5 min apart. I left Camrie at my parents house and came home to get Cam to go to the hospital. We got there and it took FOREVER to have them check me and tell me if I was staying or not.

I got my epidural at 12:30 am and waited out the night till it was time to have her. My nurse kept waking me up every half hour from about 3 am because she thought that I would have her any time. So not much sleep and starving, we were waiting for the Dr. The Dr showed up around 7:45 am. We started pushing shortly after that and she was born at 8:19 am. She had meconium before being born so they had some extra nurses to make sure that Brooklyn would be fine. I threw up once when pushing and then again after I had her because I drank too much too fast. Everything was great and I was glad to be done so that I could eat and get some sleep.

When Camrie got there to see her she didn't want to come in the room, she was nervous. After she warmed up she loved holding Brooklyn and watching her. Once they gave me my food Camrie warmed up to me being in the hospital bed. All she wanted to do was eat my grapes.
I'm so glad to be home and not in that hospital bed. Everyone is doing well and Camrie loves to sit next to Brooklyn and watch her. She is very gentle with Brooklyn and wants nothing to do with her baby dolls right now. She like the real baby better.

Family Cook out up Millcreek

We went up Millcreek Canyon after the afternoon session of the temple dedication with Cam's family. It was a lot of fun. Camrie loved pushing the stroller around and eating marshmallows.

Depressing

My ring was gone for 3 weeks getting the new diamonds put in and when I got it back I was so excited. I put it on and it didn't fit. DEPRESSING. I sent it back and they evened out the inside so that it was the right size. I got it back within a few days. I was so excited I put it on and it fit!!! I Love it!!! Then yesterday I look down at my ring and it was not shinny any more :( My center stone had fallen out. DEPRESSING.

I looked all over my parents house because that is where I was at when I noticed it was gone. Lucky for me I found it on the edge of the carpet when I was on my way outside to look if it had dropped out there.

So glad that I found it but DEPRESSING once again that I have to send it back and be without it for a few days.

Eating

This is how Camrie eats everything. She likes to pour her milk in whatever she is eating. Here it was baked potato. She will dip her sandwich in her milk and then she likes to "cook". She will pour her food back and forth from her bowl to her cup.

Happenings

We spent the day with the Wallin's a few weeks ago. We went swimming at a really cool pool that was in Orem I think. After swimming we went back to the Wallin's and Camrie had fun dressing in the fancy hat and necklaces that Marcella has. She also loves her stroller and pushed it around the house the whole time. Here is a picture of me at a few days over 37 weeks. I look huge, feel huge and am ready to be done. My doctor will start me if I haven't had the baby by the 27th. I glad that I at least have an end date. I hope that it ends sooner then that.Cam and I had our 5 year anniversary on the 4th. It was low key. We didn't do much because I'm pregnant and so we couldn't really go anywhere. We went to a movie and out to dinner. Cam got an I phone a few weeks before that was for our anniversary and I got some diamonds added to my wedding ring. I can't believe that it has been 5 years that we have been married. It has been great.I had put Camrie in one of her new fall outfits because it was rainy and cool on Saturday. She looked so cute I wanted to take a pictures. She went running away from me and wouldn't come. I finally got her to come an snaped the picture. She wanted to look at it so I showed her.
After seeing it I asked her if I could take another one and if she would say cheese. This is what I got.
She looked at it again and I asked her again if I could take another one and if she would stand up and step back a little and this is what I got. She is so dang cute!!!

Taking a nap.

Rodeo & Cherry Hill

Cam's family goes to the Morgan Rodeo every year and for the last two years we have tagged along. It was a lot of fun. Camrie really enjoyed it and she learned some new sounds and actions for the animals. She also peeled everyone's oranges.

At Cherry Hill she peeled the oranges again.

Sliding down the slide. She didn't want to do it at first, then we couldn't keep her away. She kept saying her new favorite word "mine".
