Santa

We had our ward party on Friday the 12th. It was lots of fun! We had the primary kids act out the nativity. We had amazing good food while a very talented girl sang. We had square dancing (the theme was Cowboy Christmas) Then Santa came!!! We waited till the very end to take Camrie so she wasn't rushed. The pictures explain the rest.

I need help!!!

I have been wanting to print a family picture and I can't decide what one to print. Here are some of mine and Cam's favorite. Let us know what one you like. Unfortunately Camrie did not want to look at the camera so this is what we got. The first one I was able to edit her head from another picture so she is looking and smiling.

Apples

Today I gave Camrie some apples and for some reason she would take one bit and then set it down and get another one and do the same until they were almost all gone.

What a day!!!

Today Camrie entertained herself by climbing in and out of our storage ottoman that we keep some of her toys in.Then I was giving her a snack and she is into feeding herself. She is really good about just holding the spoon while I feed her so today I let her try it on her own. She was doing so good that I decided that I could make dinner while she had her snack. I turned around and found this. She thought that is was a lot easier to just use her hands. She also thought is was hilarious once I notice what she was doing. She started laughing like crazy.

Side note:
We are so excited my brother Spencer is getting home tomorrow. He has been in the West Indies and Porto Rico for the last two years. This will be the first time that he will meet Camrie, I got pregnant the month after he left.

October

Camrie and Me on Halloween. I'm a zoo keeper and she is a Monkey!!

Camrie in her Halloween outfit.

We carved pumpkins with my family. Cameron did another one of Camrie and I did a haunted house with ghosts coming out. Jon and Alison did a poison skull.

There is a sweet old man that crosses kids just down the street from me. He loves to talk to Camrie when we are done. The past month he keeps giving her "all day" suckers or "dum dum" suckers. At first I just put them in my bag and didn't give them to her because we don't give her candy. Then he started asking me if she had it or if she liked it. So i decided to give her one so I could tell him thanks and if she liked it or not. This is what she did:

update

So much has been going on the past few months. We took Camrie to the fair back in Sep. She seemed to enjoy herself. She touched some of the animals. We had a very friendly sheep that climbed on the gate to get closer to Camrie. I think that i was more nervous then she was. It was licking her and giving her kisses pretty much. We just have video of that so no pictures but here is a different picture.
We also went to the Logan Marathon back in Sep to watch Camrie's Aunt Alison run. She did great and we happen to see Cameron's Uncle Gary and cousin Stephanie running. This was Alison's first marathon and she came in just a few seconds after her goal time. It was fun cheering everyone on as they came by. We watched Alison run by in 3 different places. In the first place we were right next to a group of people playing drums so it was loud and helped people make it up the hill.
After the Marathon we went to My Grandma's grave that is in Logan. It was the first time we have been back there since the funereal. Camrie Really liked walking around the head stone holding on the the edge. Her shoe fell off in the process so that is why only one is on.
We went to see my Grandpa and Aunt and Uncle after the grave. Jon and Alison meet us then and for lunch we headed to Juniper Take Out.

Our little Camrie is such a ham. We took some pictures of her and she thought that she was so big standing on her own.

Stats

Camrie went to her 12 month visit (she was 12 and a 1/2 months) and she was 18 lbs 11 oz. She was 27 1/4 in long. So her weight is like 10% and her length is just below 5%

She is getting so big!!!! She really is filling out and looking chubby. Here is pictures of her resting with Duke and Max at my parents house.

Zoo

We took Camrie to the zoo for the first time back in Aug. Jon, Kanien, and Marcella invited us to go with them. I think that Camrie liked it. She was nervous as always when the animals were close to the glass. She would point to them and make noises when she could see them.

Birthday Party

For Camrie's birthday I made two butterfly cakes. One for her to dig into and one for the rest of the family to eat. I ran out of time to decorate so when Leisa, Donna and Nicole got there Nicole helped by putting the crate paper up. Thanks a bunch it looked great. I made the cake with whipped frosting from the Dan's bakery and then I rolled out gum drops and used cookie cutters for the butterflies and the words.
Camrie was not so sure about eating her cake. I had to put some frosting in her mouth to get her to start. Even then she just picked little pieces of frosting off. Then she got one big clump and ate it but that was the only time. She didn't like her hands being covered in frosting. My dad ended up feeding her cake to her with a spoon.
Camrie was very spoiled!!! but then again when is the first grandchild on both sides not. Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating her day with us. Camrie got a fisher price build and pull bus from my parents and some cloths. She got tons of way cute books from Cam's parents (unfortunately Kib was in Alaska again) with a basket that they can go in. She got a Leap frog alphabet pal from Jon and Alison. She really liked dancing to the music that it would play. She got a fisher price plane from Nate and Nicole that plays music and lights up. She got some way cute cloths from Jon, Kainen, Marcella and Claire. Marcella was such a big help showing Camrie how to open her presents. Like most little kids she was to busy tiring to play with the wrapping and the gifts that were already open. Donna gave her a cute dog card. The Pyle's gave her a cute out fit. We went to Cory and Gayle Pyle's wedding earlier that day. It was beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer. We gave her a ball and some books and a fisher price learn and laugh kitchen. Thanks again for all the great gifts. We ended up letting her stay up till 10:30 playing with all her new toys. I was surprised that she didn't fall asleep playing. She may have played all night if we let her.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Our little cutie is One!!! I can't believe that it has been a whole year. I just had her I swear. Camrie loves to get into everything that she is not suppose to get into. When she gets caught she tries to finish doing it really fast. Almost like she is showing me what she can do and is so proud of it. It makes me laugh. She has a contagious laugh that you can't help but laugh along with her. She is all over the house, crawling, pulling her self up on things, walking behind her car, climbing into chairs, pulling everything off of shelves. It keeps her entertained and gives me a chance to get some things done. She has three teeth now and the fourth is almost there. You can see it about to cut through the gums. She loves to get into the dog food at my parents house. We have been teaching her to put it back in the dish and not in her mouth. When I leave the door open she loves to crawl out and get into the dirt. She loves playing with the computer, TV and remotes. Camrie is a joy to have around and makes our lives interesting.
