Birthday Party

For Camrie's birthday I made two butterfly cakes. One for her to dig into and one for the rest of the family to eat. I ran out of time to decorate so when Leisa, Donna and Nicole got there Nicole helped by putting the crate paper up. Thanks a bunch it looked great. I made the cake with whipped frosting from the Dan's bakery and then I rolled out gum drops and used cookie cutters for the butterflies and the words.
Camrie was not so sure about eating her cake. I had to put some frosting in her mouth to get her to start. Even then she just picked little pieces of frosting off. Then she got one big clump and ate it but that was the only time. She didn't like her hands being covered in frosting. My dad ended up feeding her cake to her with a spoon.
Camrie was very spoiled!!! but then again when is the first grandchild on both sides not. Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating her day with us. Camrie got a fisher price build and pull bus from my parents and some cloths. She got tons of way cute books from Cam's parents (unfortunately Kib was in Alaska again) with a basket that they can go in. She got a Leap frog alphabet pal from Jon and Alison. She really liked dancing to the music that it would play. She got a fisher price plane from Nate and Nicole that plays music and lights up. She got some way cute cloths from Jon, Kainen, Marcella and Claire. Marcella was such a big help showing Camrie how to open her presents. Like most little kids she was to busy tiring to play with the wrapping and the gifts that were already open. Donna gave her a cute dog card. The Pyle's gave her a cute out fit. We went to Cory and Gayle Pyle's wedding earlier that day. It was beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer. We gave her a ball and some books and a fisher price learn and laugh kitchen. Thanks again for all the great gifts. We ended up letting her stay up till 10:30 playing with all her new toys. I was surprised that she didn't fall asleep playing. She may have played all night if we let her.
