Camrie

Camrie and her new boots

We were waiting for her breakfast to cool and she went ahead and grabbed it off the counter and then got herself this big wood spoon to eat it with so we put her in her chair and let her eat with it.

Wanted the dog collar put on her like a belt. Then she asks to go on a walk.

Eating M&M's after going potty on the toilet.

Playing at Castle park in Kaysville one Sunday when we were at Cam's parents.

First night sleeping in her new BIG GIRL bed.

Sitting on her potty.

Spinning at church. She was spinning a lot before we took the video so she was way dizzy.

Sorry Cam took this sideways on his phone.

Camrie's 2nd Birthday

I keep putting off posting Camrie's birthday pictures because I would rather not sit at home on my computer when I have a free minute. I would rather work on a project or go to my mom's.

We had Camrie take a nap so that she would wake up before everyone got there and be nice and happy. Well she took a nap, a long nap and was still asleep when everyone started to show up so she was still sleepy and shy. She didn't want to have us sing to her and she wouldn't blow out her candle. She liked her cake and loved the great presents everyone gave her. She has always been so spoiled by everyone. Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful gifts.

This is when we got her out of bed.

The cake and presents.

Being shy when we sang to her.

Eating her cake.

Opening her presents.

Trying out the magnets that Grandma J gave her.

Playing in the sand box that she got.

My brother Spencer got a hold of our camera. Silly kid.

Jon and Alison meeting Brooklyn for the first time.

Grandma Donna's first time meeting Brooklyn.

Camrie's birthday pictures coming soon. She turned 2!!!! wow I can't believe that my little girl is not my little girl. She is acting bigger everyday. She is such a good big sister. The first thing out of her mouth when we get her up in the morning is "baby" then she runs in our room to look at Brooklyn sleeping in her bed.

I need help

I want to get a double stroller and I don't know what to get. I would like it to be a jogging stroller. If anyone knows of a good one let me know. I don't want to spend a ton of money, I'm planing around $200. I was thinking of this baby trend one

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2796629

or this Suburban Instep one

If you know about either of these or any others I would love the advice!!!!

Being Home

Being home has been so nice. I love being in my own space and sleeping in my own bed. We have just been taken it easy and just hanging out being lazy.

Coming Home

We came home the 27th.

Brooklyn Mae Jacobson

Monday Aug 24th I woke up and was having contractions off and on. By that evening they were any where from 2 to 5 min apart. I left Camrie at my parents house and came home to get Cam to go to the hospital. We got there and it took FOREVER to have them check me and tell me if I was staying or not.

I got my epidural at 12:30 am and waited out the night till it was time to have her. My nurse kept waking me up every half hour from about 3 am because she thought that I would have her any time. So not much sleep and starving, we were waiting for the Dr. The Dr showed up around 7:45 am. We started pushing shortly after that and she was born at 8:19 am. She had meconium before being born so they had some extra nurses to make sure that Brooklyn would be fine. I threw up once when pushing and then again after I had her because I drank too much too fast. Everything was great and I was glad to be done so that I could eat and get some sleep.

When Camrie got there to see her she didn't want to come in the room, she was nervous. After she warmed up she loved holding Brooklyn and watching her. Once they gave me my food Camrie warmed up to me being in the hospital bed. All she wanted to do was eat my grapes.
I'm so glad to be home and not in that hospital bed. Everyone is doing well and Camrie loves to sit next to Brooklyn and watch her. She is very gentle with Brooklyn and wants nothing to do with her baby dolls right now. She like the real baby better.

Family Cook out up Millcreek

We went up Millcreek Canyon after the afternoon session of the temple dedication with Cam's family. It was a lot of fun. Camrie loved pushing the stroller around and eating marshmallows.

Depressing

My ring was gone for 3 weeks getting the new diamonds put in and when I got it back I was so excited. I put it on and it didn't fit. DEPRESSING. I sent it back and they evened out the inside so that it was the right size. I got it back within a few days. I was so excited I put it on and it fit!!! I Love it!!! Then yesterday I look down at my ring and it was not shinny any more :( My center stone had fallen out. DEPRESSING.

I looked all over my parents house because that is where I was at when I noticed it was gone. Lucky for me I found it on the edge of the carpet when I was on my way outside to look if it had dropped out there.

So glad that I found it but DEPRESSING once again that I have to send it back and be without it for a few days.
