Camrie's favorite sleeping spot

is now my bed. I put her down for a nap and when I went in to check on her she wasn't in her bed anymore. It was so quiet that I was worried that she was getting into something. As I turned to start looking for her I saw her fast asleep on my bed like this.
(I'll have to get a new picture of this because I lost all my pictures)

She has tried this a few times since this first time but this is not a habit I want her getting into so I don't always let her. Only if Brooklyn is already asleep in their room.

"I see you"

With this new periscope happy meal toy camrie likes to go around saying "I see you". It is probably my new favorite thing to hear.

Valentines

For Valentines day we had Camrie make Valentines for all the family and sugar cookies to go with them. This is her rolling the dough out.
Camrie would hold the rolling pin above her head when she wanted Cam to turn the dough.

Cutting the cookies out.Sorry no pictures of the finished product but believe me. They were loaded with sprinkles. We delivered Cam's family's Valentines Friday night. We door bell ditched them. (Cam thinks I'm the only person who did that with Valentines. Does anyone else remember doing that as a kid?) Camrie loved ringing the door bell then running and hiding. She just keep saying it over and over again. I gave Camrie her Valentines on Saturday the same way. Then we took my family theirs on Sunday when we went there for dinner and did the same thing again.

Camrie's Valentines outfit. She would not put her toy down for me to take it.Brooklyn's outfit.Camrie's Valentine from Nicole.Saturday night Cam's parents came and watched the girls along with Myla while we went out to dinner. It was nice to get out without the girls. Cam's dad also moved our water heater while he was here. It made our laundry room seem more open. Thanks so much both of you for watching the girls and working on our house.

Random

Brooklyn sitting up to play with her toys on the bouncer.
Camrie taking a nap with Uncle Spencer. Camrie's new thing to do is when we ask her anything that she doesn't want to do she will say "no I two" Us: "you want to go take a nap?" Her: "no I two." Us: "You want to eat?" Her: "no I two." Us: "You want to go?" Her: "no I two."

Front room

Before
I didn't like the white walls. I also didn't like the color on the bay window.
I hated the bear wall paper boarder in the entry way and the gate that was in the way and made a hole in the wall. None of the outlets or switches matched.
After
Painted all the walls a cream color. painted the ceilings.
Took the bear wall paper off and the gate. Put new white outlets and switches.

Scissors

We have been letting Camrie cut things with scissors and she has done a really good job. She picked it up really quick. One day she came down to me when I was doing the laundry. She was so happy with herself. She had cut little slits across the bottom of her PJ shirt. I was glad that it was just her PJ's and not something else.
So I started putting the scissors on the top of the fridge where she couldn't get them. I came into the kitchen and found this. She is no dummie. She pulled the tallest "chair" over to our fridge and stood on her tip toes and reached as far as she could and still wasn't able to get them. Then she called for help "need help".

Brooklyn Sitting

Brooklyn can kinda sit by herself. She does better on the couch or recliner then on the hard floor but she is getting there.
My little drool monster.

First Cereal

Brooklyn's first time eating cereal. She was not a fan. She didn't want to open her mouth and when she did it was to cry. Which I used as my chance to get cereal in thinking that she would like it once she tried it. Once the cereal was in she would start sucking like she was nursing. Then cry that she wasn't getting anything. She did better about getting the spoon in her mouth when we let her hold the spoon but that was a huge mess.
So for now we are putting off cereal. By this time I had been giving Camrie baby food for 2 months. Its crazy how different your kids can be.
