September

We had a princess party for Camrie and had everyone come in Royal attire. Camrie loved seeing everyone dress up for her party. This was our little family in our royal attire.Camrie blowing out the candles on the princess cake that I made for her.
Opening her gifts.
Myla helping out.
Me getting the food ready for dinner in my Cinderella dress that I found at the DI.
Jon, Alison, and Norah in there Royal attire.

Two pretty princesses.
The girls checking out the dress up stuff that Nana gave Camrie.
The tired girls after the party was over.
The Love family reunion was the same weekend as Camrie's birthday. They just did a day thing at a park. It was so fun to get together and see everyone. We haven't done a reunion in a long time. Our family was the family that won the prize for the most % of family members that were there. 100% of our family was able to be there that were not on a mission.

On Camrie's real birthday we had a small cake that was left over after shaping her party cake that I made into a mini version of her princess cake. She was super excited that she got two princess cakes. We also let her wear her princess dress to church because it was her birthday.

Opening more presents at Nana and Papa's house. Camrie found these cup holders and put them on her arm. She said that she was superman with them on.
Playing at the park with my cousins after walking around it.

Brooklyn's first time being in a front facing car seat.

Camrie in her new PINK car seat with her princess cup she got from Aunt Nicole for her birthday.
While we were driving. Brooklyn loved being front facing. She had started to hate rear facing so we decided to turn her around. Look at how happy she is!Camrie loved that I set up our Marble Works track on the table and let her stand up there to play with it. We were keeping it away from Brooky who puts everything in her mouth.
We went down to my Uncles cabin for a quick weekend get away. It is always so fun to go there. This time I had a meeting that I had to go home for so while I was gone everyone went on a 4 wheeler ride. I'm still not sure how I feel about Cam taking the girls to the top of the mountain on 4 wheelers but I guess they survived.

It seems like you are on top of the world when you are up here.
On the way back down the mountain Camrie fell asleep. Not sure how that can be comfortable but I guess if you are tired then you do what you have to.Playing with some of my cousin's kids after walking the Jordan Parkway one time. We spent lots of time this year playing at the park with these guys.
One of Brooklyn's many times hanging out in the laundry basket. Brooklyn loves to climb in anything that she can. Even if it is a box just big enough for her to stand in.
Me and Cam went with his sister and husband to the Brad Paisley concert. It was so good!!! He is such a good entertainer.

August

Camrie loves taking pictures any chance she can get. She has taken some pretty impressive ones that I will keep sometimes. Here she is taking a picture of her hand in a teeny tiny mirror.

For our anniversary Cam's parents offered to watch the kids while we did something so we took them up on the offer. We took the kids up to spend the night. This was Brooklyn's first sleepover.

For our 6 year anniversary we went and stayed at a place called Zermatt Resort in Midway. We walked around and check the place out when we got there. There were goats that were just wondering around the grounds.
This is the view from our room. There was a merry-go-round and a pond.
We did mini golf at the resort the next day and we were the only ones out there. We had a few burst of rain come so maybe that scared everyone else away. It was a lot of fun and a nice break from the kids. On our way home Cam was kind enough to stop at the outlets and let me shop for a little while with him in tow. Anyone that knows Cam, knows how much he hates shopping. He was a good sport.Brooklyn's first tooth. She woke up on the 5th at our house after staying at Nana and Papa J's and I saw it. Her first tooth at almost 12 months. Only an excited mom could see it in this picture but if you look close you can see the dark spot on the bottom front. That is the TOOTH!!! She had her first birthday with just one tooth.

Singing in the rain. Camrie just had to go out and use her princess umbrella when we had a sudden rain storm. It was this wet in a matter of seconds

The Birthday Girl.
We did a Polka Dot Party for Brooklyn's first Birthday.

My big helper in decorating the house for Brooklyn's party while Brooky took a nap.
These are the cakes I made for Brooklyn's Birthday. The big yellow one was going to have a bow on the top like a present but I couldn't get it to work so it was left off.
Waiting for her cake.
Camrie so bad wanted to help Brooky eat her cake. She keep sneaking dots off the side.
Unlike Camrie at her first birthday, Brooklyn LOVED getting into her cake. She had it everywhere: she needed a bath, the floor needed to be mopped, walls needed to be wiped down and some purses needed to be cleaned. We were not ready for her mess.
Camrie helping Brooklyn open her presents after Brooky had a bath to clean her up from her cake mess.

The day after Brooklyn's Birthday she fell and smacked her head on the corner of our end table. She had a huge bump on her head right after she hit.
Our ward had a summer party and they rented this blow up slip-n-slide. We could only get Camrie and Brooklyn to somewhat stand at the start but they wouldn't walk down it. They didn't mind standing in the freezing cold, dirty water at the end of the slide. Yuck.
