March

The girls out shoveling snow on one of the few snow days that we had.

 I was able to meet up with my friend Kanien in California. She was flying on her mom's buddy pass to get to Utah and had to stay the night in California. We decided to have me and her mom fly to California and stay the night with her. It was a fun little day trip. We had to take at least one picture because we didn't take any the last time we got together.

 St Patrick's day. The girls woke up to find that a Leprechaun had been to our house. He left chocolate gold coins around the house starting at the girls room and ending in the living room.  

 Brook was excited to find the Lucky Charms cereal at the end of the trail.

 Later that day they eat their lunch out in one of their new favorite places to sit and eat. On the top stair of the deck. We also spent the day at the bank to get the loan for our new car to fit our soon to be family of 5. We got a white Honda Pilot and we LOVE it.

 Cam turned 32 this year. Man is he getting old. We had dinner at my parents the Sunday before his birthday. We sang to him and had pie.

 On his birthday we had some people over to the house and had cake, pie and ice cream. The cake was mostly because Camrie insisted that we had a cake for his birthday. I mostly just do homemade apple pie because that is his favorite.

 Camrie was playing on Laurie's skateboard at my parents house. She would sit on it and then scoot around. She thought that she was pretty cool.

February

 Brook has always been my child that will find a way to get into anything that she wants. She will take a stool anywhere in the house to reach things. This is the spot where I use to keep the candy and treats. I have changed it to keep her out of it.

 At Preschool Camrie's class gave Valentines. This was a super cute candy robot that someone gave out. 

 We were at my parents one day and Camrie saw this picture of the Simpsons on the newspaper. She said "That's daddy's favorite" and then picked it up and started to read the paper to see if she could find more of the Simpsons. Isn't she so cute with her "cowgirl boots" as she likes to call them.

 Brook loves shoes and will try on most peoples shoes if they are left out. Camrie's boots go all the way up to her knees.

 What "cute" outfits the girls come up with sometimes.

January

We went with my aunt and her kids to the church history museum when they had the kid exhibit. The girls had a lot of fun checking out all the different things to do there.

December

The first week of December I went to see my friend Kanien in Indiana. I asked Cam if I could take a trip out to see her when he was in Mexico. I think that is why I got away with going for a whole week without the kids. He was feeling bad that I had to be home without him for three weeks. It was such a nice break and so fun to spend time with her and her family. I miss having them close to us. We mostly crafted and I didn't take a single picture.

 

Camrie's first dance recital. She did so good. She knew the whole dance and was one of the few that did it.

 At the place that we went to pick out a Christmas tree they had reindeer there to see. (My battery was almost dead so that is why the picture is so blurry.) The girls thought that it was pretty cool to see the reindeer.

 At our ward party there was a Santa Clause. Camrie was a little nervous when it was finally her turn to sit on his lap but she did sit there and tell him what she wanted.

 Brook on the other hand started to scream as soon as Camrie sat on his lap. Brook wouldn't even cross over onto the rug they had down to get close to him.

 This year again we went up to Cam's parents on Christmas eve to open presents instead of Christmas day so this is our evening at the Jacobson's. Camrie opening one of her gifts

 Showing off their new goods. They got bunk beds for Christmas to make room for the new baby that is coming in June. At some point all three will be in the one room together.

November

I went in to check on Camrie one night before going to bed and this is what I had found. She had taken a rubber bin and put it on her bed with some blankets and pillow and fallen asleep inside it.

 For Christmas Cam's parents gave the girls a swing set. They gave it to them in Oct instead of Dec so that they could play on it while it was still kinda nice. Brook loved to swing on the "blue swing" as she calls it and would ask to be pushed on it anytime we were outside. They went out to play in the snow and then she came and asked to be put on the "blue swing"

 My parents have some big trees in their yard which makes for a lot of fun for the grand kids come fall. Not so fun for those that have to rake the leaves over and over and over again until they finally stop coming off the trees.

 My mom bought a bucket of blocks and the bucket was so big Brook wanted to climb in and have a seat. One of my brothers would pick the bucket up and swing her in it.

October

The girls play so well together sometimes. Camrie was going around picking some flowers to give to me and Brook just followed Camrie around like a little puppy.

 The girls LOVE to go out and play in the sandbox. I hate that sand ends up everywhere but at least they are having fun.

 For about 3 weeks Cam was working in Guadalajara Mexico at the Pan American games. He was missed while he was gone but it was a good experience for him.

While Cam was gone I only took one picture. Well my mom took one picture. We went on a hike with her and Laurie and a friend of Laurie's. 

We went to Leisa's work on Halloween to take the girls trick or treating there. It was so nice to do that. It was during the day and inside. The girls got their fair share of candy so we only took them to a few people that night mostly to show off their costumes. We also had gone to a ward party the day before straight from picking Cam up at the airport.
