Crib

So Cameron is making the crib for Camrie and she is really getting cramped in the bassinet that we have had her in. Cameron is making the crib out of Maple and it is gorgeous. We went to Cam's parent's house on Friday (the day after thanksgiving) and we worked on the crib. Cam got everything put together with his dad while me and his mom sanded some of the pieces. Nicole was nice enough to watch Camrie when we were working. Then he went back up Sat. and worked on it some more. So the only thing that is left is to sand some more and stain it. Here is a picture of it all put together minus the two pieces that go along the top of the head and foot boards

...definitely a labor of love. The workmanship is unbelievable. It's going to be beautiful!

That looks great! The boys looks so smiley - I wonder if that is really how they feel inside after working on it all day. :)

What a neat thing for a daddy to go for his little girl. It will truly be a keepsake!

I am impressed!!! Cam and his dad do look quite proud of themselves. As they should be I suppose. I couldn't build something like that. That will be a nice crib to have for all your kids!

Very Nice!!! Forget doctorate degree, Cameron should go into the crib-making business. ;) Just kidding. It looks very professional though. They did a great job on it!
