The Crib

The crib is done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how happy I am. I wanted it done 6 months ago, but it has been fun and it is nice to have it made from scratch by Cam and a lot of help from his parents. We could not have finished it so soon if it was not for their help. We brought it home Sunday after we watched the super bowl at the Herr's (Nate's family). Cam wanted to set it up that night so I fed Camrie her cereal and sweet potato's and peaches for dessert while Cam brought all the pieces in the house. Then while I nursed her, he put it together. Camrie celebrated having her new bed by going 9 1/2 hours with out eating (her longest time ever). Boy was I happy.

YAY!!! That is so exciting! The crib and her room both look great! Perhaps Camrie was just waiting for her crib to be done to put in a full night's sleep. 9 1/2 hours? That's great!!!

It looks really good. Glad you are able to start using it. I bet that was nice having Camrie sleep so long. She must have enjoyed it too.

Way to go Cam! What a neat gift for your baby. I'm sure it will become an heirloom. Sure hope the good nights sleep continues.

It looks awesome! Good Job Cam. I bet Camrie loves it. I can't believe how big she is getting, eating solid foods and everything, man how time flys.

Thanks for the comment! I have a hard time trusting the sage thing - it's never been wrong but someone on their blog once said that they have found it to be wrong so I check it and then end u p going through the blogs anyways just to make sure it's right - talk about time on my hands! I can't believe Kanien and you hung out together on Friday and didn't come over here - just leave me out! No, I'm glad that you got to have a day together - they seem so few now that they live farther away.

What a beautiful heirloom to pass down to each of your children and possibly their children. Great job!
