First Hair Cut

This was Camrie's first time getting her hair cut at a barber shop. It was on the 6th of July. She was a little nervous at first but then she warmed right up. Her nose is scratched from our day at Cherry hill the day before. She fell face first running after Cam.We just had them trim her hair a little and cut her bangs.Well Camrie decided that today July 27th that both her and brooklyn needed a hair cut!
I came out of my room to this and I started bawling. (I had gone back to sleep after giving Brooklyn a bottle and Cam had gotten in the shower.)There is more hair then this cut but this was in the hall. We found little clumps all around the room also.Brooklyn seemed to like the whole thing. She was grins all over the place. Maybe she was glad to get her beautiful mop chopped off. Not my idea of what I wanted her first haircut to be like but what can I do.Camrie was upset only because I was bawling my eyes out. Before that she was pretty happy with the job she had done. This is the damage done to the two of them.So we took our second trip to the barber shop in one month. Good thing that they are family friends and Camrie was so excited with being there again. Who could blame her. They have any movie she could want and she gets a sucker when she is done. She also has been playing at their house on Wednesdays when they watch their Grand kids.Brooklyn's first hair cut at a barber shop.Brooklyn now looks like a boy with no hair. All of Camrie's long pretty hair had to be chopped off to blend the butch that she did to her left side. No more piggies for a while. :(If you forgot this is what their hair use to look like. These new hair cuts are going to take some getting use to. ( Camrie has more then just that one outfit. I can't believe that the one picture that shows her hair the best is in the same outfit that she is wearing today.)

I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT. Seriously I put my hand over my mouth and just kept saying oh man. I feel so bad for you. Pour girls. At least it grows back right? Those cute head bands you made will sure come in handy. For what it is worth They both still look super cute.

I did the same thing as Kanien - I had my hand over my mouth and just kept saying Oh poor Amy. One day you will look back and laugh. Kanien is right also they both are still super cute.

I'm so sorry, Amie!!! I think they both still look super cute though!! :) If it makes you feel better, Camrie still has way more hair than Maggie ever has. She takes after me when I was a kid, unfortunately (I think it's called Short Anagen Syndrome). Anyway, basically her hair falls out super easy and pain-free...so she has bald spots and if it starts to get a bit longer and I put pigtails in, she pulls them out and all the hair comes out with them. Anyway, she'll grow out of it eventually, but it will take years for her to get a head of hair anywhere near where Camrie's was. I bet Camrie's will be long again before you know it!!!

OH CRAP! OH OH CRAP! I can't believe that! Madison never did that. Camrie's cut was pretty punk rock. The short doo is really cute on her, but hopefully that beautiful hair will grow back fast. I bet the scissors are hidden now or WAY out of reach. The problem is that you're taking your daughters to a barber shop for hair cuts...girls need to be in salons getting pampered.

I would have cried too. They do look adorable though! The first time I cut my own hair I was 13 years old. And it looked worse than Camries job!!

OH MY GOSH. I think i would have started bawling too, that wasn't just a little snip of hair. I'm so sorry, that is seriously devastating.....but i'm not going to lie, it's a little bit funny!! Her hair looks really cute short though.

Oh boy! I put my hand over my mouth and my eyes were huge as I read your post and saw the pictures. That little trick has never happened at my house yet but I most certainly do not put it past my kids! Camrie is lucky you are such a patient mommy! Ahhh, they stories you will have to tell when they grow up!

Good job for only crying and not screaming. Good Momma you are! Camrie's hair does look cute. But I would have cried too!

I would have cried too.... I've always been jealous of her hair, Grace has terrible hair that just won't grow.... Sad. On the flip side, they both look darling with their short hair.

I just laughed out loud because I feel your pain. My little guys chopped his hair a bit ago. I know it's not the same when a girl does it though. I love it. Good thing they are both so cute with their new little cuts!
