This is Brook just after having a bath. Her hair is so curly. I love it.
Every year my work (Unified Police Crossing Guards) has an end of the year party. So in May just as school is getting out we go to the Zoo and then have hot dogs and other police things we can let our kids see like the SWAT trucks and K-9 unit and a bunch of other things. This is Camrie just as we were getting to the Zoo. Her and Brooky had there sunglasses and sunscreen on and were all ready for a sunny day.
Brook spent most of her time in the stroller so she wouldn't run off.
We get to go into the Zoo before it opens to the public and it seems like we always get there just as the Tigers have been let out and feed because they go running all over the place and are really active which is fun to see. By the end of the day when we are going home (at like noon) the tigers are mostly just laying around.
Brook loved watching the elephants. I'm not sure if it was just the elephants or if it was that she got to be out of her stroller for a good amount of time. She would have stayed there if we would have let her.
Here the girls are looking at the apes or whatever they are.
It's crazy how big they are. This one keep looking at Camrie out of the corner of his eye.
When we were ready to leave the zoo we had already missed the hot dog and other part of the party but we didn't mind so much. We decided that we would go to This is the Place across the street because we had just gotten a year pass for there and hadn't been there yet. Camrie LOVES horses and wanted to just keep riding horses the whole time we were there. This girl would love to have a pet horse.
Brook loved to run around in the pasture with the small animals but wanted nothing to do with riding the pony.
This picture was like two seconds before she grabbed that poor little lambs nose. The lamb went running away from her as soon as she did that.
We road on a big "train" around to the different spots around the whole place.
Camrie really loved running around the maypole.
We got this map to show us were all the spots were and Camrie took this everywhere with her for about a week or so. She liked to show everyone where we went and where the ponies were. Camrie took this picture of the map on our way home just before they both crashed from having an event filled day. I think that they were asleep before we even go out of the parking lot.
My Brother LeRoy got home form his mission in England. We were super excited. We decorated the house and had balloons all over the lawn. Alison printed some cute stickers for the girls to wear and she got some Amereican flags for them to hold.
This was the first time that he got to see Brooklyn because she was born like 3 months after he left.
Camrie made a card for him. She was a little shy when she saw him. She is like that most of the time when we get to a new place or see new people. Camrie was the age that Brook is now when LeRoy left on his mission so she remembers things from pictures which we would show her while he was gone. We have lots of fun pictures and videos of the two of them before he left.
Hanging out at the house after the airport.
We went to the baby and kids Expo and they had this thing where you could float on the water in these balls. Camrie wanted to do it but wasn't so sure once they started filling the ball up with air.
She stayed in it for a little bit but them wanted to get out.
We tried to put Norah in also but she didn't like the air being put in either so she got out.
Same thing with Myla she wanted to get out right away. We couldn't even get Brook to sit in the ball so we didn't even try to blow it up with her.
Camrie loved playing in the bounce area. It was hard to get her to leave.Norah just sat in the corner and didn't really move and when we put Brook in next to her Brook just screamed so we took her out.
Alison taking Norah on one of the bigger climbing blow ups. Norah really liked that. We took Brook on this one also and she liked it because we stayed with her. I didn't get pictures because my Camera died.
