11 months old

Camrie is 11 months old and I can't even believe it. Just one more month and my baby will be a year old. It doesn't seem like it has been that long. She is growing up so much. She loves to move around everywhere. She mostly does the army crawl but for the first time yesterday she actually crawled. She likes to pull herself up on things and get into anything she can. She can push herself around on her car backwards and goes all over the house until she gets stuck on something. she loves to eat everything we put in her mouth. She likes to hold peoples hands and walk around.She likes to clap and wave to people. She loves looking at books and flipping through the pages.

Gardening

Camrie was being really fussy the other day so we went out side in the yard. That always seems to make her happy. I decided to let her play on the grass while I worked in the garden pulling weeds and watering everything. Camrie decided that she wanted to help with the gardening so she crawled over to the dirt. At first she was just laying mostly in some morning glory weeds digging in the dirt so I thought ok that's fine, she is not getting that dirty and she is happy I'll let her just help pull the weeds. She also helped herself to a snack of dirt.But that soon was not enough she wanted to help water and make sure the plants had some good trenches around them and she looked so cute I couldn't help but run in and grab my camera. At that point I didn't care what happened to her cloths which happened to still be her PJ's that she had on. She was digging in the mud and drinking out of the hose all on her own I didn't even show her how to do it. She just grabbed the hose and started playing with it.Then she decided to even give herself a bath. She crawled into one of the trenches that had water running down. She is so helpful.This is the damage she did.Then the real bath came.

Camrie Loves her food

This was Camrie's first time having watermelon on a rind. She was a little nervous but she soon got into it and cried when I took the rind away.We fed Camrie some sweet potatoes and as we were cleaning up she reached over and grabbed the container with the rest of the sweet potatoes in it. They were COLD because we only heated up what we fed her. She held the container with her feet and then started chowing down on the sweet potatoes. She ate the whole thing and we just sat there and vedio taped her doing it. Oh a side note. the stars on her head are from primary. She was in there with me and the kids put stars on her head.

4th of July

For the 4th of July Cam had to work at the Stadium of Fire. He ran one of the camera's right in the middle of the field.
Camrie got this way cute 4th of July dress from Catherine, She works with Nicole. I was so excited because I hadn't got her one and decided that I wasn't going to because at the time we weren't going to be doing anything because Cam was going to be working. So Thanks Catherine for the way cute dress and everything else you have been so nice to give us.
Me and Camrie hung out with Cam in the morning before he had to leave and then we went up to Layton to hang out with Kanien and Marcella and Kanien's family. We planed on going to the surf and swim but then it got really windy and we decided not to go. We had ribs and some good salads. Marcella help feed Camrie.
We went over to Cam's parents house to watch the fire works with a bunch of other people. You can see the fireworks from the DATC at their house and hear the music that they play. You can also see like 2 or 3 other firework shows. Camrie was a trooper and stayed up the whole time. I think she was more interested in the glow sticks that we had then the fireworks. At the end of the night I did get some picture of her watching the fireworks that the neighbors were letting off. Her face was so funny.

Family Reunion

The Jacobson reunion was the 27th - 29th up by Logan. It was a ton of fun. The theme this year was survivor. Because they have survived 30 years of reunions. They used a bunch of reality shows for the things that we did. The first night there was a Hell's Kitchen Chili cook off. We played deal or No deal and the winners got hats. Saturday we started off with The morning show with Kib and Leisa which was breakfast. Kib always makes sourdough pancakes, which are delicious. Unfortunately Leisa didn't sleep well Friday night so she took advantage of an empty cabin and slept in. We had The Amazing Race Bill & Liz Edition where we had to do challenges that represented things about Bill and Liz. Bill and Liz are Kib's aunt and uncle. Some of the things that we had to do were: Eat a HUGE steak with a BIG bowl of COLD!!!! mashed potatoes, a pan of brownies and a stack of hoho's and a plate of chocolate candy. It was so sick and not worth the calories. We dressed up in church cloths and read a chapter in the scriptures. We casted a fishing rod. Searched for money. Bowled. Golfed and had a relay that we had to be dressed in swim attire (flippers, swim cap, and goggles). I'm happy to say that the team I was on won. Cam went golfing with his dad and some cousins while this was happening. The next thing was fear factor. We had gone to Logan to have Juniper take out for lunch and missed this, but it sounded fun. After Lunch we went swimming and Cam, Nate and Kib met us there. It was packed but fun. That night we did so you think you can dance, like a Jacobson. This was funny. We all laughed our heads off. They gave each family a CD with a song on it and you had to come up with a dance. Our song was some rap song. It was short so we just shook some booty till it was over. Sunday we had Family Feud, which was the reunion business meeting where they talk about the next reunion. So we are in charge next year and it makes me nervous to find some way to top this year. I know that Nicole and Leisa are killer at planing things so I'm sure that they will figure out something great. This was Camrie's first time sleeping in a tent and she did great. She slept better then anyone I think. So once again I was bad about getting pictures and only have this one of the first night just before Camrie went to bed. If you want to see others Nicole has some posted and I'm going to try and get some others from cousins that were there taking pictures.

10 months old

Camrie is now 10 months old and boy is she getting big. When we went to her appointment on the 26th of June she was 25 7/8'' long and she weighed 15 lbs 9 oz. She is back on the growth chart. She has done so much this past month. She got her first tooth on the 10th and then her 2nd one on the 30th. She was so good when she was teething that I had no idea that she was getting a tooth until it was already out. She mastered army crawling. She is everywhere now. She started swim lessons on the 23rd and now will go under water without crying when she comes up. We went hiking with my mom and sister Laurie and two cousins Brit and Kenzie. Camrie was a trooper. We put her in a front pack and she just hung out the whole time. It turned out to be a longer hike then we thought because we hiked an hour in the wrong direction. She got a little fussy at the end but other then that she was great. Cam, Camrie and I walked around temple square with Cam's parents and Grandma Donna. We got some fun pictures of her and she played in the water from the little reflecting pond.

Amie's Birthday

I turned 23 this year on Friday the 6th of June. For my birthday me and Cam went out to eat at Teppanyaki's on the 5th and then when we got home he wanted me to open my present. He gave me a Wii and a Wii fit. I think he was just as excited if not more then me. He had me set it up that night and we played with it a little then he stayed home from work on the 6th and we played it some more. My friend Kanien came by with her daughter Marcella and she visited for a while with me. She gave me a book called Fool me Twice, also a yummy caramel cinnamon apple from C Kay Cummings. We use to get them all the time together. Man I miss having them close by. We also use to eat with them for dinner like 4 nights a week. I could go on and on about all the fun stuff we did together but lets stick with the topic. That night we went to my cousin Krystal's Wedding dinner. (Her wedding was gorgeous it was on the 7th and to see pictures you can go to my cousin Ashley's blog. Krystal and Tyler's wedding Ceremony was by far the best one I have ever been to. I had fun seeing family and hanging out with everyone through out the day.) So back to the topic. At my parents before the dinner for Krystal they gave me a luggage set that is pink and brown and another bag that matches them that I can use for a carry on. Inside the carry on bag was a loaf of Great Harvest Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread and a book called The Host. Jon and Alison gave me some jewelry. Sunday we went to my parents and had cake and ice cream for both mine and Jon's birthday. Jon got all the candles blown out before I could even try to blow. It was just one quick puff and they were out. I don't have pictures I think that Alison got them with their camera. We have not gotten together with Cam's family yet because when we were going to go out to dinner Leisa got sick so we have rescheduled the dinner. I do know that they are giving me some shoes because they have already shown them to me and Leisa broke down before Easter and gave me one of them. My birthday was a lot of fun and with enough complaining about past years birthdays Cam got me a surprise and gave it to me before my birthday. In past years Cam has either wanted me to come with him to get something or waited and given it to me late.

Tooth

Today Camrie got her first tooth. It just popped up over night. Yesterday I had felt her gums and there was nothing. Today when I was feeding her lunch I saw something little and white. When I was done feeding her I put my hand in her mouth and felt it and it was sharp. She has been a little fussy lately but nothing way bad and she has been waking up a few times at night mostly before me and Cam go to bed. I'm hoping that the tooth was the reason and that she is not getting into her old nasty sleeping pattern. Sorry there are no pictures I was lucky enough to just see the tooth when I was feeding her and now I can't even really get my finger in there without her pushing it away.

9 months in 9 months out

My cousin Ashley did this and I thought that it was fun so I decided to do it also. It is a day late but it still works.Little did we know we had a new addition to our little family on the way.


Camrie went lots of places with us before she was born. One being her dad's graduation. Not to be mistaken this was not the end of his school. She went to Vegas, San Diego and St. George also.


At the hospital the night before she was born. My water had broke and so I was checked in to the hospital at 8pm and had her the next morning at 9:35am.



It has been so fun to watch Camrie grow and develop. I love being there as she learns and discovers new things. She has been such a joy to our life's.

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial weekend we went with my family to my uncle's cabin/ranch (if you can call it either of those) It is more like a resort. It has a pool and hot tub which were not up and running yet. Theater room, pool table and foosball table. There is a bathroom in every room and a jetted tub in every bathroom. It has heated floors through out the whole place. There are tons of trails to hike on and ride 4 wheelers on. We have the whole mountain to our selfs. There are horses but no one rides them anymore. We had fun playing games and riding 4 wheelers with the family. We had a fire one night that we roasted marshmallow's. Camrie was so good about taking naps and was so happy all the time. She went for a little ride on a 4 wheeler with Cameron. We love when we get to use Steve's cabin it is so nice and a fun place to be.
