First Hair Cut

This was Camrie's first time getting her hair cut at a barber shop. It was on the 6th of July. She was a little nervous at first but then she warmed right up. Her nose is scratched from our day at Cherry hill the day before. She fell face first running after Cam.We just had them trim her hair a little and cut her bangs.Well Camrie decided that today July 27th that both her and brooklyn needed a hair cut!
I came out of my room to this and I started bawling. (I had gone back to sleep after giving Brooklyn a bottle and Cam had gotten in the shower.)There is more hair then this cut but this was in the hall. We found little clumps all around the room also.Brooklyn seemed to like the whole thing. She was grins all over the place. Maybe she was glad to get her beautiful mop chopped off. Not my idea of what I wanted her first haircut to be like but what can I do.Camrie was upset only because I was bawling my eyes out. Before that she was pretty happy with the job she had done. This is the damage done to the two of them.So we took our second trip to the barber shop in one month. Good thing that they are family friends and Camrie was so excited with being there again. Who could blame her. They have any movie she could want and she gets a sucker when she is done. She also has been playing at their house on Wednesdays when they watch their Grand kids.Brooklyn's first hair cut at a barber shop.Brooklyn now looks like a boy with no hair. All of Camrie's long pretty hair had to be chopped off to blend the butch that she did to her left side. No more piggies for a while. :(If you forgot this is what their hair use to look like. These new hair cuts are going to take some getting use to. ( Camrie has more then just that one outfit. I can't believe that the one picture that shows her hair the best is in the same outfit that she is wearing today.)

First

First time playing in the Sand box.First time with piggies.
I just love this picture. How cute is she in this?Brooklyn eating a Strawberry for the first time.Camrie chewing gum (I think for the first time) at least she didn't know what she was doing if it wasn't her first time. We told her not to swallow the gum but she wouldn't even swallow the spit and then she wanted to take the gum out because it was to "hot" with the spit. The first pickings out of our garden. We picked lettuce and spinach. Camrie now goes and picks lettuce and spinach whenever she wants and eats it. She loves the spinach the most and calls it baby lettuce.Brooklyn using a crab for a Binky. Not a first but oh so cute. The girls playing in the basket together.

The Zoo

Every year the Sheriff's department has a Hot Dog party for the crossing guards. We get to go to the zoo first thing in the morning before they open. (This was the first year we have gone because me and Cam have always been working out at the Miller motor sports park the day that they do it. This year we are working out there in July so we could go.) We stayed longer at the zoo and skipped the hot dogs because Cameron was having so much fun at the zoo.My favorite part was seeing the tigers up and walking around. We saw them being let out and then they ran all around their area. I love going on a cooler day and early in the morning. All the animals seemed to be more active. How Brooklyn spent most of the morning.Camrie's favorite part was this monkey. Don't let her face fool you. It was singing so loud and swinging all over the place. It so kindly stop and posed for our picture. Cam's favorite part was seeing the Rhino's so close up. They were right next to the window.Camrie wasn't to sure about the train at first but once we got going she really enjoyed it and wanted to go again.

You've got mail

Camrie got this fun little number in the mail and until it got put somewhere unseen she never took a breath away from it. Aunts are so fun!!!

New Trick, Skirt, Hair

Brooklyn has a new trick as of the 6th of May. She was contained in the laundry basket so she couldn't crawl into stuff and she pulled herself up. She was very proud of herself for doing it. Now the crib has been lowered so she can't fall out.I made the girls these matching skirts with leftover fabric my mom had.Camrie's hair is getting so long I can't believe it.

The Park

We have a fun little park by our house. We took the babies for a walk over to it back in April. Camrie pushed her baby and I pushed Brooklyn.
