March

Who needs toys when you have a box full of packing peanuts?

Well maybe toys inside the box can be fun also.
We went to this place called "The Chocolate" that sells cakes, cookies, brownies, and other pastries. The girls loved looking at the mini cupcakes in the glass case. My mom let them each pick out a mini cupcake to have.
My brother Jake bought a house back in February and we would go over to help him redo some things before he moved in. We maybe created more work then we did help out but it was fun to see the changes made. One of the times it was just me and the girls over there and I was putting together some new bar stools. The girls had found a quiet way to entertain themselves. It took me a while to realize that it was too quiet. I went to find them and it had snowed in Jake's house or at least that is what it looked like.

They had gotten the foam that the bar stools were packed in and broken it up in to teeny tiny pieces. It was EVERYWHERE. I was so mad. It was sticking to everything.

I made Camrie vacuum it up but that only lasted like two seconds till she decided that it wasn't fun anymore. So I made her sit in the corner while I finished cleaning it all up or at least getting what I could up. I'm sure that Jake was vacuuming foam from his new carpet for a couple of weeks.
Holidays are so much more fun when you have kids to really get into it. This is the girls when they first got up on St Patrick's Day. They (Camrie) made sure that we all wore something green to bed so that we wouldn't get pinched in the morning. When they got up there was a trail of gold coins that went from their bedroom, down the hall to the living room, then into the kitchen and up on to the table.

This is what they found on the table at the end of the trail. Lucky Charms cereal to eat for breakfast, the rest of the gold coins and a note from the Leprechaun that had left everything. It took them about half the day to realize that the gold coins were chocolate.

For some reason that I don't know Camrie loves to were my mom's cloths. Here she is on St. Patrick's Day wearing my mom's PJ's
Here are some funny pictures of the girls. They set up their folding chairs to watch the TV together.
Brooky wearing my bunny slippers.

I found Camrie watching TV like this one time. It looked like she was going to fall off the railing and down the stairs. I don't know why she thought that was a good way to set but she was practically asleep like that.  Brooky having her first popsical I believe.

Cam's parents took all of us to St. George again this year and it was a much needed break from everyday life. The condo that we stayed in was on the ground level and it had a playground right out side it's back door which was great for all the kids. We spent a lot of time just hanging around the condo and playground. The boys went golfing the girls went shopping and we spent some time at the indoor pool.
Brooky loved swing and once she started it was hard to get her away from the swings.

Don't let this picture fool you. I'm sure that she was just so tired from swinging and the long drive down that she could barely hold on but she wouldn't let us take her off the swing.
This is what she looked like most of the time that she was on the swing.

At this point I think that Myla was so drugged and tired that she was having a hard time showing how excited she was. She had gotten sick just before the trip and so they had a "fun" drive down with a sick child.
Nana J got all the kids matching PJ's for down there.

Brooky dosen't have a hard time eating even if it is not her food. Brooky chowed down her food and decided that she would finish off Myla's also.

This is Camrie eating her dinner at Ponch and Lefty's. I think that we go there every time we are in St. George. It is a favorite.

Myla may be younger then Brooky but she shows her who is boss.

We played so much that one night that we went out to eat Camrie wouldn't wake up from her nap in the car. She fell asleep on our way to dinner and so I stayed in the parking lot with her until our table was ready and our food was there. I took her in and she just laid down on the bench next to Leisa and went back to sleep. We ended up just taking her food home with us because she slept the whole time we were there.

Brooky took all of their books off the bookshelf one day and tried to climb up onto it.

Grandmama's House

Brooklyn had her 18 month check up on the First. This little cutie is doing great. She is super little that is for sure. She is in the 3-5% for weight coming in at 20 lbs 1 oz and the 5% for height topping out at 29 1/4 in. She loves to climb and play with her big sister when Camrie will let her. She loves to eat and will eat everything in sight if we let her. Brooklyn loves dogs, books, and balls. She mostly will say Ball, Book and dada. She now just laughs when I try and get her to say mama even though she use to say it. She has like all of her teeth. Brooklyn has a full head of hair back even after Camrie cut it all off. It is sure fun watching her grow and develop. We love having her in our family.
This is a castle that Camrie made all by herself at Grandmama's house. The colorful pegs are people that she put all over the castle.

The girls taken turns brushing Aunt Laurie's long hair.

We were over at my mom's house, or Grandmama's as Camrie calls her, and Camrie was just playing quietly while Brooklyn was sleeping. I went to go see what she was doing and this is what I found. She said that it was her friend. She was doing her friends hair. She had clips in it and was brushing it. She had a mirror for her friend to look at her hair when she was done with it.

February

More crazy hair from the ball crawl. This is one well used Christmas present. Better then anything we ever gave the girls. Uncle Jake really knows how to pick them. I think that most of the pictures we have been taking have been in this thing.

This little cutie is Binky free. Wow it is wonderful. It took about a week of major crying when it was nap and bed time but now it is not so bad. She takes a little longer to fall asleep but she doesn't cry like she did in the beginning. I can't believe how nice it is to not have to worry about where her binky is or if we have it when we leave the house. This is the first time since Camrie was born that we have no binkies in the house. SO so so nice.

Camrie and Brooklyn both love to put my shoes on. Here is Camrie posing with my boots on the Nicole gave me.

The girls like us to put a blanket over the ball crawl to make it a fort. This thing can keep them entertained for ever.

I had a meeting at Gecko's for discovery toys and they have these super cute suckers that they sale. I couldn't resist getting some. Me and Camrie tried them while Brooky took a nap.

Here is some pictures of mine and Camrie's new hair cuts.
I was cleaning the other day and the girls found some of my old weights. It was so funny watching them pick them up. Camrie keep saying that she was doing Jazzercise. Brooklyn could barely lift them but she keep trying.
