The Crib

The crib is done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how happy I am. I wanted it done 6 months ago, but it has been fun and it is nice to have it made from scratch by Cam and a lot of help from his parents. We could not have finished it so soon if it was not for their help. We brought it home Sunday after we watched the super bowl at the Herr's (Nate's family). Cam wanted to set it up that night so I fed Camrie her cereal and sweet potato's and peaches for dessert while Cam brought all the pieces in the house. Then while I nursed her, he put it together. Camrie celebrated having her new bed by going 9 1/2 hours with out eating (her longest time ever). Boy was I happy.

Camrie's First Vacation

I have to be like the worst mom ever. I did not get a single picture the whole time we were on vacation. We went to St. George with Cam's family and stayed with Tim and Holly. Camrie was able to meet Davis and Emmary. We had a great time. We got there Friday night and met Brady, Emmary and Addie along with Tim, Holly, Emmary, and Davis at a restaurant for Brady's birthday. This was the first time that Brady, Emmary and Addie had seen Camrie. Saturday, the boys (Cam, Kib, Nate and Tim) went golfing and the girls (Camrie, Leisa, Nicole, and I) went shopping. Afterward everyone (Fowers, Platts and us (Jacobson's)) all went to Texas Roadhouse (Mine and Cam's first time) and it was the best. Cam's family left Sunday and we went to church with the Fowers. Then we went and played games with the Platts at there house. We left Monday morning and missed all the storms when we were driving but had about a foot of snow to shovel off our driveway when we got home. We had lots of fun in sunny ( and yes it was nice there, I even went with out a jacket on Sat. and I had a short sleeve shirt on.) St. George. We can't wait to go back and see our friends. Maybe sooner rather then later because it is so cold here and I'm sick of the snow. Thank you so much Tim and Holly for letting us stay with you. Sorry that Camrie didn't sleep to well there.

Check up

So I forgot to schedule Camrie's 4 month checkup, so the week that she turned 4 months I remembered. I called but couldn't get in for two weeks. Camrie was about 4 months 2 weeks when we went in. She was 10 lbs 3.5 oz and she was 23.5 in long, they told us that she was looking great. I made Cam come with me, I was not going to watch them give her shots. (The first time I cried.)

A Week of Cereal

This is after a week of eating cereal and you can see in these pictures how much she really LOVES it. In the other ones she was tired and still getting use to the cereal, but now she is a pro. Kory thanks so much for the plastic bibs, we really needed them, they came in handy.

Real Food

Camrie started to eat real food Jan 2nd and she LOVES it. We can't get it in her mouth fast enough. She will just sit there with her mouth wide open waiting for you to put more in it. We have some video from the first time, but it is on Cam's laptop which is at school with him so I will have to put that on some other time. This picture is from the second day.

Another Buddy

In Dec. Camrie met another friend. We got together with Cam's friends again and she saw Maggie again and met Logan. Ben and Melissa's new baby boy. He was one week old here when she met him.

Baby Talk

This is mostly for my brother Spencer that is on a mission in St. Croix which is in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He has been on his mission a little over a year and has not met Camrie yet. We tried to get her to talk on the phone when he called for Christmas put she was to worn out. She loves to talk to anyone that will listen to her even if it is just herself. She sometimes "sings" along with the radio when we are in the car. Anyway this is her talking to me and Cameron

Friday Storm

Friday night I was out at my parents while Cam was running a camera for the Flash Basketball game. It was really windy and rainy. I cam home at about 9:30 and when I was going in the side door I thought that something looked funny. I went in the house and when I got all my stuff set down I looked out our window and this is what I saw.The big pine that is in the backyard had blown over. We are all lucky that it didn't hit the house. It did take down some of the scrub oak that is in the backyard giving us privacy but that is a small price to pay. So we spent Sat morning cutting the tree up because it was blocking the back door that we use when it is not snowy. Here is some pictures of it.We had a lot of men come over off and on to help out.After we got done cutting it up and hauling the trunk off (all the branches are still piled all around the backyard) Cam had to go back to Orem and run a hand held camera for the Flash game. As you can imagine he was really tired after that.

Christmas

Camrie got spoiled this year for Christmas, mostly from everyone else. She got Looney Tunes in her stocking and then she got a black and white blanket that I made for her to lay on and look at. Camrie was excited to open her presents you can tell by the look on her face.

























Then we went to Grandma & Grandpa Jacobson's and she got an outfit and a new toy fish/rattle from her Aunt Nicole and this Boppy thing to lay on to play. She got a Rain forest jump a roo from G&G Jacobson that I don't have any pictures of put we have a video that I will try and get put on soon. Her Great Grandma Donna Gave her some money that we put in her savings account to go towards collage or something.













After we went to Grandma & Grandpa Loves and she got a Car that she can ride around on. it also came with stacking block/cups and a thing that you push the top down and balls spin around inside of it. They gave her some books and the hat that she is wearing as well. Camrie had a long tiring day so her and Max kicked back and relaxed. On Christmas eve She got to open a rattle from them also. She got a doll from her Great Grandma Webb the Sunday before Christmas. She got the red PJ's Christmas eve from her mom and dad. I think that is everything.
